According to reports, the couple is thrilled about their new baby and they are even planning to have another child soon. There were even talks about marriage, which means that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are now taking their relationship to the next level.

Fans were really happy about their baby, but another person close to "The Notebook" actor also wanted to congratulate the couple - and that is Rachel McAdams. The 34-year old actor and his former co-star dated from 2005 to 2007 and reunited in 2008.

While Eva Mendes was still pregnant, there have been rumors that Ryan and Rachel have been seeing each other. However, there was no actual proof of that but it looks like they are still in touch with each other.

According to new reports, the 36-year old actress called up her former lover because she was happy for their new baby. A source told National Enquirer (via AZ Central), ''Rachel had the best of intentions when she called. She wanted to congratulate Ryan on the baby, but also to find out how he was doing.''
