Star Wars creator, George Lucas, admitted that he still hasn't watched the trailer to the latest installment of the franchise, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." In one interview, Lucas said, "I don't know anything about it."

However, he also said that even if he hasn't seen the 88-second trailer, he still wants to see the finished product of Episode VII once it's feature in the theaters in December 2015.

When Lucas sold Lucasfilm to Disney, and gave the keys to the Star Wars world, there was no confirmation on how much is he beinvolved in making the upcoming films. There are suggestions that he's been chatting frequently to JJ Abrams, the director of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." And then others that he's leaving everyone well alone.

Lucas was known to be the creative consultant for the said movie. However, he doesn't seem to show much interest on how the Star Trek director J.J. Abrams manage to pull off something fresh for the franchise. This is contrary to what Jett Lucas, George's son, that his father personally selected him as the film director.

The trailer has already had many imitations, which includes a Lego version; a tongue-in-cheek approximation of what "The Force Awakens" might look like if Lucas was still directing, as well as a "Saturday Night Live" spoof that debuted during James Franco's episode, riffing on the age of returning cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.

The film stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher all reprising their classic roles alongside new characters played by Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong'o and Max von Sydow.

Although Harrison Ford's had his on-set injury, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is still set to be released in theaters on December 18, 2015.
