Into the Woods' star Anna Kendrick arrived at the movie musical's premiere alone. According to MTV News, "Cinderella" came to New York's Ziegfeld Theatre without the "Prince Charming" - Chris Pine to celebrate the movie's release.
Reportedly, the 29-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars MacKenzie Mauzy and Lilly Crawford, as well as couple Zoe Kazan and Paul Dano.
Broadway.com reported Anna Kendrick's appearance in Good Morning America where she shared "everything" about the film. She spoke of the glass slippers, her princess footwear and talked about royal babies and some of her experiences.
"He's a genius but he tests you, and he writes for actors-so it's a gift and it's a joy, but it's so hard," Kendrick said referring to singing the music and lyrics of Stephen Sondheim.
"It's like, oxygen is so great," the star commended working with Meryl Streep.
"Into the Woods" will hit movie theaters on December 25.
According to E! News, aside from the movie, Anna also stars as Cathy Hiatt for the highly anticipated film adaption of Jason Robert Brown's musical "The Last Five Years."
Anna plays the role of "a struggling actress who sings through the breakdown of her relationship with her novelist partner, Jamie Wellerstein, played by Jeremy Jordan."
Reportedly, she will also reprise her role as a Barden Bella in "Pitch Perfect 2."
"I've been hard at work in the editing room on Pitch Perfect 2 and I'm thrilled that you all finally got to see the trailer. Now that you've had a chance to digest, speculate and generally freak out (just breathe, Bechloe shippers.), let me break it down for you real quick... The crazy world of collegiate a cappella has not gotten any less crazy since the first movie," Elizabeth Banks wrote explaining what happened in the trailer for the upcoming sequel.
