Some websites reported that the killer of Latina singer Selena Quintanilla (who's known as Selena) could get an early release from prison.
In an exclusive report of TMZ, Selena's killer could be released earlier from prison if she proves her health is deteriorating. However, her proof is not strong and so she will stay locked up.
There are reports that Yolanda Saldivar, who shot and killed the Tejano icon in a hotel in 1995, has a kidney failure and asked the Parole Board for an immediate release.
According to TMZ's sources, Yolanda Saldivar (Selena's former fan's club president and the killer) has some medical issues but its not serious enough to grant her warrant for an early release. Futhermore, she has not even filed a petition for early release.
The 54-year-old murderer is confirmed not eligible for parole until March, 2025.
The latina singer died on March 31, 1995. According to the reports, Saldivar shot Selena as they argue in a room of a motel. Selena's dad discovered some proofs that former fans club president was embezzling money. This issue was the root of the arguement between Selena and the killer. Yolanda claimed that she didn't kill the singer, but she said it was an accident. Yolanda actually pulled the trigger and pointed it to her head. Because they're having an arguement, she can't remember how Selena was shot.
