New reports suggest that limited "Tom Clancy's The Division" release date updates could backfire at Ubisoft, and could eventually cause fans to lose interest with the game eventually.
The highly anticipated new title is set to be launched by 2015. However, neither a specific follow-up nor a set date has been made, leaving fans in the dark.
Many are believing that the game will deliver solid gameplays, and some even suggest that Ubisoft's latest release will rival one of 2014's highly anticpated game- Destiny.
As Air Herald reported, "They're [Ubisoft] boasting of beefing up the game without any lack in quality. Providing a more adventurous game than anyone had expected as well as the promise of additional content and online experience that this RPG is going to be like no other."
"All that's well and good but they have to deliver the goods. The only way they can is to provide constant info about the game and that they're supposed to do by releasing a demo of some sort."
The site also mentioned about a demo release which will most likely be an exclusive for the Xbox.
"This demo will probably be only for Xbox One which leaves lots of players out in the cold until the game comes out. PS4 fans will probably be grinding their teeth but it's the way of gaming business nowadays to go exclusive in some form or another."
Despite the unconfirmed "Tom Clancy's The Division" release date, fans are very much excited to get their hands on the new release that will reportedly give players the ultimate RPG experience.
In an interview with IGN, Ubisoft art director Rodrigo Cortes shared:
"We want to show gamers the game they will end up playing. We don't want to sell a fantasy."
While the game is primarily intended to be played with other gamers online, recent "Tom Clancy's The Division" release date 2015 for Xbox One and PS4 updates claim that players can still opt to play solo.
"You are never forced to do any grouping or any PvP. You can complete the whole game yourself. You will see other players in the social areas but you don't have to engage with any of them. You can play almost as a single-player game but it's always online."
"We took the decision early on to create the experience to compliment 1-4 players. We don't want an emotional experience ruined by a guy with a weird name dancing in front of you," Cortes explained.
