The "Sons of Anarchy" season 7 finale aired last night and it was amazing, satisfying and beyond thrilling.
Now that the finale has been aired and season 7 has come to a close, fans have wondered what's next for the stars of "Sons of Anarchy" and the show's creator.
First off, Kurt Sutter has already started creating buzz with his new show titled "The Bastard Executioner." The show, which will most likely be Sutter's new baby, was reportedly green-lit for a pilot by FX last December, according to the Wall St. Cheat Sheet.
Kurt Sutter may have yet to write out the pages for "The Bastard Executioner" as he had reportedly been waiting until "Sons of Anarchy" wrapped season 7, but details have already begun to surface. Sutter's wife, Katey Sagal, who also played a major role in the biker drama, will be making an appearance in the upcoming series.
"I'm going to be in it," Sagal had told reporters, according to Deadline.
She continued, "We don't know in what capacity yet, because he's just starting to work on it. But that's where we're going. I will definitely be involved with it."
The star of "Sons of Anarchy," Charlie Hunnam, will be making his way to feature films, as he's already lined up a starring role in Guy Ritchie's "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur," according to The Hollywood Reporter. He has also reportedly been attached to the drama "The Mountain Between Us," which is about two strangers who survive a plane crash.
Ron Perlman will reportedly be turning to producing and has even launched his own production company, Wing and a Prayer Pictures, in May.
It's not clear if the former cast members of "Sons of Anarchy" will be a part of "The Bastard Executioner," but the creator of the biker drama is expecting the same fans to rejoice for his new show.
"My sense is that 'Sons' fans will like it. It will push some of those same buttons for them," Sutter told Entertainment Weekly in early October.
He added, "We're not on motorcycles and leather jackets, but I think it's ultimately a complicated and relatable character."
