Sexual Assault Victim Of Bill Cosby Moves Forward With Defamation Lawsuit As Comedian Accused Of Being ‘Somnophiliac’

Multiple women have come forward with sexual assault accusations against Bill Cosby, but it seems that one woman is ready to take action in regards to what the comedian is saying about her after she’s come forward with her claims.

Bill Cosby is reportedly facing a defamation lawsuit from Tamara Green, who claims that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the 77-year-old comedian when she tried to help him find investors for a club in the 1970s, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Green, who is one of the at least 16 women that have accused “The Cosby Show” star of sexual assault, reportedly asserts that her reputation was hurt by being called a “liar” by Cosby through his publicist and lawyer after she came forth with the accusations.

Green’s claim has reportedly been recognized by attorney Gloria Allred. Allred reportedly held a press conference last week with three Bill Cosby accusers and made a proposal that Bill Cosby waive the statute of limitations so that he could test the merits of the sexual assault accusations.

Cosby has reportedly remained silent in the past week, despite Allred’s proposition. The actor is now also facing speculation that he’s a somnophiliac, someone who is aroused by sex with a person who is asleep or unconscious, according to Fox News.

The stories that have been circulating regarding Bill Cosby have reportedly been similar, with the comedian drugging the women before allegedly assaulting them.

Dr. Judy Kuriansky, a clinal psychologist and sex therapist who has not treated Cosby, reportedly suggested that if the women’s stories are true, the comedian is a somnophiliac who also suffers from a serious need to dominate and control other people.

“Basically, this is an inability to have a normal, sexually intimate and respectful exchange with a partner,” Kuriansky explained.

She added, “Therefore, that partner needs to be drugged and semi-conscious in order for [one] to interact. It is not a matter of the sexual pleasure as it is of the dominance or control.”
