New episodes of the comedy series is expected to air on Yahoo Screen during the first few months of 2015.

While fans can't really tell a lot from the set photos, two of the comedy's newest cast members- Paget Brewster and Keith David- are seen with mainstay Joel McHale.

As We Got It Covered reported, "David, a thematic replacement for departed star Chevy Chase (whose spot was previously filled by Jonathan Banks in season 5 before that actor was called away for Better Call Saul), plays a retired scientist who comes to Greendale Community College in hopes of reinventing himself. Soon enough, he finds himself welcomed into the study group. Brewster, meanwhile, plays a consultant who comes to Greendale in order to spruce things up around campus."

Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash have all been confirmed to return to the show.

Meanwhile, "Community" season 6 might not be the most exciting news for fans. Others are starting to speculate that Abed's "six seasons and a movie" reference will be true for the show in real life.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sony president of programming Zack Van Amburg, might have hinted on making the movie.

"There's no way we're not making the movie now. I think once we make the movie, let's look up and decide how much more Community the world wants. We promised six seasons and a movie, how much more do you want?... I'd be lying if I told you that we have not had some very early and preliminary conversations that are very exciting about what a potential movie could be and who might direct it," he said.

"Community" was cancelled by NBC after its fifth season, but was resurrected after Yahoo Screen confirmed to airing season 6 in 2015.
