Sony Hack Of 2014 Putting Movie Executives And Producers In Trouble? Kevin Hart Called A ‘Whore’ In One Email Exchange

The Sony Pictures hack may be putting several top producers and movie executives in hot water before 2014 ends as more personal information was leaked on Wednesday, according to Fox News.

The Sony hack has reportedly revealed email exchanges between producers and movie executives that slammed President Obama, Kevin Hart and Angelina Jolie, just to name a few.

In one email exchange, Sony co-chairperson Amy Pascal reportedly asked movie producer Scott Rudin what she should should ask President Obama at a fundraiser, to which Rudin responded with “would he like to finance some movies.”

“I doubt it. Should I ask him if he liked ‘DJANGO’?,” asked Pascal.

Rudin reportedly retorted with, “12 years,” which led Pascal to continue on with the “banter,” writing “Or the butler, or think like a man.”

Rudin reportedly wrote back “Ride-along. I bet he likes Kevin Hart.”

Kevin Hart was also on the list of people that were spoken of negatively, evident from a separate email exchange involving another executive that reportedly called Hart a “whore” for requesting more money. Angelina Jolie was reportedly called a “minimally talented spoiled brat” in an email exchange between one of the studio’s top executives and a movie producer, according to emails published by Gawker.

In one exchange between Pascal and Rudin, the two reportedly argue over Jolie, who wants director David Fincher to direct her movie on Cleopatra, rather than the Jobs biopic, according to The Washington Post.

“She’s a camp event and a celebrity and that’s all and that last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming,” writes Rudin.

The Sony hack of 2014 seems to be bringing out the worst of big names in the industry. Rudin reportedly issued a statement to Deadline apologizing for the emails.

“I made a series of remarks that were meant only to be funny, but in the cold light of day, they are in fact thoughtless and insensitive — and not funny at all," he stated.

Rudin added, “To anybody I’ve offended, I’m profoundly and deeply sorry, and I regret and apologize for any injury they might have caused.”
