Portland School Shooting: 4 People Confirmed Wounded

UPDATED NEWS: 4 people was confirmed wounded in Portland school shooting. 3 of them are students. The school shooting occured at Rosemary Anderson High School campus.

According to CNN report, Oregon, Portland police said there is 16-year-old girl which in a critical condition, a 17-year-old boy in serious condition, 20-year-old man is in serious condition, and a 19-year-old woman who suffered a grazing wound from the shooting.

Sgt. Pete Simpson told CNN that 2 males and a female were wounded not far from the Rosemary Anderson High School campus. The victims ran inside a school building after being shot. Police spokeperson is not sure if these young victims are the students of the school. When the victims were rushed to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, they're breathing, conscious and talking.

Pete added that the shooter may be affiliated with a gang but it's not yet confirmed if the shooting was gang-related or something personal to the victims. The suspect might not be alone or have other people who helped him.

The shooting occurred in past noon (3:15 p.m. ET) while classes were being held at the alternative school in north Portland.

Meanwhile, according to Rosemary Anderson High official website, the school enrolls about 200 at-risk students who "have either been expelled or dropped out of public high school and many are homeless."
