Tyra Banks is now facing charges as former "America's Next Top Model" contestant Angelea Preston sued her.

The contestant claimed she was wrongly denied the show's grand prize because she previously worked as an escort. If you miss the disqualification annoucement, check out the video below.

As you can see, one of the judges said that the production and the network discovered something about Preston that made them decide to disqualify her. After that, they didn't mention the real reason why the contestant disqualified.

E Online obtained some documents reporting that former contestant "filed a breach of contract suit on Wednesday in the Los Angeles Superior Court, asking for at least $3 million in damages for intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress."

The ex-ANTM claimed that she was wrongly disqualified because she worked as an escort as she participated on the show. She strongly believes she did not violate any of the show's rules as "her work as an escort took place before her appearance on hit reality competition series."

CW stands as a defendant of Tyra. They gave statement on The Wrap, "As noted during the broadcast of the America's Next Top Model finale in 2011, information about Angelea was learned after production wrapped on that cycle that led to her disqualification from the competition."
