And in January, Microsoft says it will reveal 'the next chapter' on Windows 10. The latest reports confirm that Windows 10 News Upgrade Features, Release Date will be unveiled on January 21. Microsoft have sent out invitations for an event in Redmond to disclose more details about Windows 10 News Upgrade Features, Release Date and executives say that a launch is likely in early fall, late next summer.

PCWorld.com reports, "Microsoft announced that it would hold a Webcast and an in-person event in Redmond on Jan. 21, where chief executive Satya Nadella, plus senior executives in Microsoft's Operating Systems division-Terry Myerson, Joe Belfiore and Phil Spencer-will discuss the new operating system. "

Myerson, who is the executive VP of Operations, has already tipped users about the Windows 10 News Upgrade Features, Release Date saying the Windows enterprise product would be familiar to users on Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Other Windows 10 News Upgrade Features, Release Date will include an enhanced Start menu, something that menu users had missed, a new 'task view', windowed apps, 'snap assist' capacity, and virtual desktops along with ALT-TAB features.

While the Redmond, Seattle-based firm has been revamping the Windows 10 OS, there will be an emphasis on touch screens and enhanced touch integration and Cortana.

The features are impressive but what will the price tag be on Windows 10. Some reports say that Microsoft could come up with a subscription based system for revenues. Of course, prior to naming Windows 10, there was a lot of Internet chatter on using Apple's model and offering existing users on Windows 8 free of charge. But there has been no final comment on price and Microsoft is expected to give away pricing details at the last minute.
