Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift are one of the most well-known BFF teams in Hollywood, but did their relationship move from purely platonic - sisterly even - to a tad bit more romantic?

The close friends found themselves in a Twitter frenzy last week after a grainy video of the two allegedly kissing each other made its way into social media.

A fan reportedly caught the Victoria's Secret Angel and the pop star in a heated embrace during a The 1975 concert.

The 'Blank Space' singer quickly dismissed the rumors.

"As my 25th birthday present from the media, I'd like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty," she tweeted about her supposed romantic relationship with Karlie Kloss.

"Taylor remains happily single. It is disappointing that her one birthday request was ignored," Swift's representative released a statement regarding the issue through People Magazine a couple of days after the "Shake It Off" hitmaker posted the plea on Twitter.

Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift are very open about their friendship. They are also quite affectionate with each other as evidenced in their interactions and photos together. However, according to Swift, their relationship is nothing more than friendly.

Swift has been linked to her other BFFs as well. The British singer, Ed Sheeran, in particular, has continuously been "shipped" to the "Style" singer. However, he is currently very happy in the arms of his non-celebrity girlfriend, Athina Andrelos.

Kloss, on the other hand, is actually dating Josh Kushner, a Harvard undergrad and Business School graduate. He's also a social gaming entrepreneur and venture capitalist, according to Bustle. They have reportedly been together since 2012 and he looks like he's making the model very happy.

He's has also been included in the "Forbes 30 Under 30" list.
