Lindsay Lohan news reported that a new app, called "Price Of Fame", was launched by the "Mean Girls" star. Based on the report from Daily Mail, the actress seems to be hoping to follow the success of another celebrity app, "Kim Kardashian : Hollywood."

Fresh from the final run of her West End debut, Lindsay Lohan announced the news about her game app earlier this week.

The 28-year-old said: "I've developed a new mobile game called "Price Of Fame" and its ready for you!"

The controversial movie star added: "You can become a famous celebrity just like me, but there is a lot of DRAMA along the way!"

According to the Daily Mail report, Lindsay Lohan's app "Price Of Fame" uses simple graphics that allows the player to choose different hairstyles, clothing, and other features.

The game is reportedly free to be downloaded on iPhone, Android and tablets, but a player needs to pay money in order to get additional features.

Linndsay Lohan's new app "Price Of Fame" reportedly ranked 10th in the App Store when it was launched earlier this week.

Another report from Tech Crunch said Lindsay Lohan's new app "Price Of Fame" was designed by Andy Ross of OK Go. The creator supposedly made the game as a parody and satire of a life as a celebrity.

The launch of "Price Of Fame" followed allegations about how the actress and her brother, Mike Lohan Jr., reportedly stole another developer's app idea.

According to Lindsay Lohan news from TMZ, the celebrity siblings allegedly made a deal with a web developer named Fima Potik for a startup project called "Spotted Friend".

TMZ recalled that the former Disney star even tweeted about "Spotted Friend" in July 2013.

However, the team behind the virtual closet app reportedly parted ways. The Lohan siblings then decided to develop an app similar to "Spotted Friend", called "Vigme".

The celebrity family's plan to launch a similar app reached their former partners. The developers have reportedly issued a cease and desist order and threatened to file a formal lawsuit to prevent Lindsay Lohan and her team from releasing the said app.
