New reports suggest that there might be a new title added to the Marvel movie line-up for Phase 3 of the Cinematic Universe.
As IGN reported, "We already heard this week how Marvel Studios and Sony have had discussions about working together to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe."
While the news prove to be very interesting and exciting for Marvel fans, it could probably hurt fans of Andrew Garfield. Marvel's decision to include Spidey into the MCU will reportedly cost Garfield to give up the role.
"Andrew Garfield would no longer be Peter Parker and any baggage from existing films, [directors Sam] Raimi or [Marc] Webb, would be non-canonical," Latino Review noted.
Just recently the renowned studio announced 9 movies slated to hit the big screens on 2016-2019. Majority of the titles were a fulfillment to every comic fan's fantasies, while the others were definitely a surprise.
Here's the official Marvel movie line-up for phase 3 of the Cinematic Universe according to MoviePilot:
1. Captain America: Civil War (May 6, 2016)
2. Doctor Strange (November 4, 2016)
3. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (May 5, 2017)

4. Thor: Ragnarok (July 28, 2017)
5. Black Panther (November 3, 2017)
6. Avengers: Infinity War part 1 & 2 (May 4, 2018 & May 3, 2019)
7. Captain Marvel (July 6, 2018)
8. Inhumans (November 2, 2018)
"Captain Marvel" came as a surprise to some. When DC announced however that they will be coming out with a solo "Wonder Woman" flick, Marvel had to make a female-led superhero movie as well. And fans really think it's about time that a woman kicks ass in her own movie.
"There are lots of rumors for the casting of Captain Marvel from Katee Sackhoff, Yvonne Strahovski, Emily Blunt, and more. Personally, I think their choices are good if those are the true candidates for the role. I know a lot of fans have been wanting Emily Blunt but I personally would like to see Strahovski get the role. But great line-up. I know they'll cast well as always," Iron Angel of Movie Pilot explained.
