The latest "Avengers 2" rumors about Joss Whedon doing his last "Avengers" film and the cameo of Spider-Man in "Captain America: Civil War" were tackled in the recent Sony hacked emails. Sony Pictures was the latest victim of hack attack and the name of the hacking group is Guardians of Peace.

Also known as GOP, they sent an image with a threatening message in the computers of all the Sony employees. They wrote: "We have obtained all your internal data including secrets and top secrets ... If you don't obey us, we'll release data shown below to the world."

I guess what the Guardians of Peace are talking about are the email discussions between Sony Entertainment chairman Amy Pascal and the Russo brothers. Based on their conversation, it seems that rumors are true that Joss Whedon's last movie with Marvel will be the "Avengers 2".

According to Overtice.com.br, Joe and Anthony Russo told Pascal that they will be directing "Avengers: Infinity Wars" parts 1 and 2. Apart from working on two more films with Marvel, they will still direct a film entitled "The Gray Man" under Sony Pictures.

Now that the Russo brothers have confirmed that they are directing "Avengers 3", then this could mean goodbye to Joss Whedon. I'm sure there's a good reason for that and maybe Whedon needs to take a break from doing superhero movies.

Another rumor that was tackled in the exchange of emails is about the appearance of Spider-Man in "Captain America 3". The Russo brothers will also be directing the third installment of "Captain America" and they wanted the web-slinging superhero to appear in the movie.

However, those negotiations between Sony and Marvel didn't work. The Inquisitr reported, "They regret that the negotiations have fallen through with Marvel, as they would have loved to include a Spider-Man cameo in the film." It would be awesome to Peter Parker together with Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. Do you think the "Captain America: Civil War" and "Avengers 2" rumors are true?
