Good news for PS4 owners as the H1Z1 release date for the PS4 has been reportedly revealed after SOE confirmed the Steam early access launch date of H1Z1.

Cyberland recently reported that the PS4 release date of H1Z1 has been set by SOE to be on April 2015 following the confirmation that the PC version of the game would be launched on January 2015.

As confirmed by John Smeldy of SOE, The Steam release date for H1Z1 will be on January 15, 2015 for a price of $19.99. Smedley said that the Steam release is a fun game with 64 square kilometers of gameplay area to explore, but due to the nature of the game being on Steam Early Access, the game is still unfinished.

"After a lot of hard work, we've decided to make the release date January 15th, 2015," he wrote. "This gives us just enough time to polish what we have and put out something we'll be proud of and hopefully you'll be excited to play."

"What you'll be playing January 15th is a really fun game, but it's early," he continued. "It's everything Early Access should be - a fun compelling game that isn't finished. Our goal is to have you help us finish it and have it be a game we can build a large community in over time."

"The goal here is to let you in early and help us mold it into a game you want to be a part of for quite a long time," he wrote on Reddit.

As for the more expensive version, more details about it will be announced sometime in the future, but it will offer access to different game mode servers and other specifics.

However, players can get access to these game mode servers even through the normal gameplay on less expensive versions, so players who chose not to buy the higher-priced version don't have to worry about missing out on these features.
