Seth Rogen And Howard Stern Talk Sony Hack: ‘It Probably Was North Korea,’ Says Radio Host

The recent Sony hack, which reportedly may be compromising both the James Bond and Spider-Man movie franchises, has caused trouble for the past week as important, confidential information continues to circulate.

Seth Rogen, star of “The Interview,” made an appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show and spoke about the Sony hack for the first time.

“It’s stolen information. I think it’s f***ed up that anyone is talking about it,” stated Rogen.

He added, “I do think it’s f***ed up how everyone is doing exactly what these criminals want.”

There has reportedly been speculation that North Korea might be responsible for the Sony hack as the upcoming release of “The Interview,” which is a comedy starring Seth Rogen and James Franco as reporters sent to assassinate Kim Jung Un, has gained attention.

“This attack is no different than a 9/11-type attack,” stated Stern, according to NY Daily News.

He added, “They stole this material. It probably was North Korea. They want to f**k with Sony. They’re really pissed off. It’s outrageous. The president should have announced immediately we’re under attack.”

Seth Rogen added that the media is wrong in re-distributing the confidential information.

“All of this information would literally just be sitting on some obscure corner of the Internet if it wasn’t for these news articles exposing the information,” stated Rogen.

Rogen also expressed his thoughts on Sony exec Amy Pascal, who has been put under negative light after email exchanges between Pascal and other movie executives and producers of Hollywood were released.

“Amy Pascal shouldn’t be sitting and putting in writing any of these thoughts. But okay, she did. If we protected these women with the nude pictures, why shouldn’t we be protecting [Pascal]?,” asked Rogen.

He added, “I think one could argue that the sexual nature of one makes it more invasive, but I would say it’s probably under the same umbrella. It’s stolen information that media outlets are directly profiting from.”
