iPad 3 rumors start to spread online.
The iPad Air 2 was just released a few months back, and was met with mixed reviews. Tech junkies now turn to the internet for any signs of a new tablet release.
New reports are claiming that the new iPad will most likely be made available by October-November next year.
Although the iPad 3 is not yet the official name of the new tablet, it has been widely referred to as such online. Other reports are calling it the iPad 7.
According to Macworld, the new iPad will be packed with an A9X chipset. The iPad Air 2 currently boasts of an A8X chipset that "has three billion transistors and offers (Apple says) 40 percent faster performance than the iPad Air 1's A7 chip in most apps and up to 2.5x graphics performance."
With this, it is likely that the iPad Air 3 will be released in the market on late October 2015 or perhaps, early November.
As KpopStarz noted, "MacWorld's compilation report about iPad Air 3 release date and specs noted that the purported tablet may also get a resolution boost suggesting that it may feature a pixel density approaching that of the iPhone 6 Plus, which is 401ppi. This will be a huge leap considering that the iPad Air 2, with a screen resolution of 1536 x 2048 p, has, more or less, a density of 264 pixels per inch."
