Former 'America's Next Top Model' Pleaded Guilty, Was Sentenced To 12 Years In Prison

Former "America's Next Top Model" finalist Renee Diane Alway pleaded guilty last Wednesday for criminal charges including a break-in at a Palm Springs home.

According to L.A. CBS, the former finalist was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Renee Diane Alway, 28, finished the Cycle 8 of the reality show in 2007. She pleaded guilty for the charges counts of burglary and one count each of vehicle theft and being a felon in possession of a firearm, and a misdemeanor count of identity theft for crimes she committed in June 2013 in the Palm Springs area.

In 2013, Alway was arrested as per officers investigations. Palm Springs police Sgt. Harvey Reed claimed, she's the "suspicious female" in the area found an open back door at a home in the 600 block of Violeta Drive in Palm Springs. They discovered Alway's hiding in the garage of the home.

Meanwhile, the host of "America's Next Top Model" Tyra Banks is also facing charges. According to the reports, Tyra was sued by former "America's Next Top Model" contestant Angelea Preston because of the mysterious disqualification on the said contest. Preston claimed she was wrongly denied of the show's grand prize because she previously worked as an escort.

As of the moment, the host has not yet given any statements about this allegations.
