Juliette's involvement in Nick's Grimm life takes a turn for the worse when she discovers the side effects of the potion she took to help him get his powers back. Meanwhile, Monroe and Rosalie face another threat to their marriage. Read on for the "Grimm" season 4 midseason finale recap!
Last episode, Juliette took a test, worried that she could have fallen pregnant when she slept with Nick as Adelind. The tests came out negative but the headaches and stomach pains persisted.
She finally found out that the symptoms weren't because she was pregnant, but because she was turning into a Wesen. She was transforming into a Hexenbiest.
How would Nick face this complication once he finds out? Is this the horrible connection that Claire Coffee was talking about?
Things become even more complicated when Monroe and Rosalie get more threats from the Wesen order that condones intermarriages between species.
Rosalie received a threatening phone call before finding a dead fox at the spice shop's backdoor, representing her should she continue to stay by Monroe's side.
Nick and Hank post an officer to keep them safe but it turns out that police officer assigned to them was actually a Wesen and Monroe finds himself attacked. What will happen to the newlyweds? More importantly, will they ever get to go on that long-delayed honeymoon?
To continue with the "Grimm" season 4 midseason finale, Nick, Hank, Monroe and Rosalie manage to take care of the deadly Chupacabra before all the drama unfolded. Unfortunately, they weren't able to save the doctor who was first infected.
The Chupacabra is a disease that affects Wesens and turns them into blood thirsty maniacs. If untreated after 48 hours, the infected permanently becomes one. With only one dose left, the doctor decided to give his infected wife the medicine instead of taking it for himself.
Hank had no choice but to shoot him as he changed into the monster permanently this time.
On the other hand, Sgt. Wu finally discovered that everything (the monsters, Chupacabra, Aswang) he was seeing was real. Instead of helping Nick and Hank out, however, he stormed off and succumbed to his fears. Will he help Nick out or will he self-destruct instead?
This "Grimm" season 4 midseason finale recap promises more action when the show continues in January.
