Season 13 of ‘Hell’s Kitchen” has been incredibly intense as 18 contestants started out to compete for the head chef position for Gordon Ramsey’s Pub & Grill at Caesar’s Palace Atlantic City. Now four finalists, including Sade Dancy, Jennifer Salhoff, Bryant Gallaher and La Tasha McCutcheon, remain for the final “Taste It, Now Make It” challenge.
“The winner gets to spend the afternoon with loved ones, while the other contestants prepare for the 200th dinner service. Later, a new head chef for Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace Atlantic City is chosen,” reads the synopsis for the finale of “Hell’s Kitchen” season 13, according to TV Guide.
Although the final four of “Hell’s Kitchen” still has another challenge to get through, contestant Jennifer Salhoff has stated that she’s already learned from her experience on the show.
Salhoff has stated that the show has made her “grow,” according to Philly.com.
“I actually liked the punishment [meted out for losing a challenge]. They’re educational. I mean, I had never extracted ink out of a squid before, or butchered a whole animal. I was like. ‘I’m in the rib cage of a cow.’ I’m a competitive person, so winning or losing is a big thing,” explained Salhoff.
She added, “It forces you to believe in yourself, or you will fail fast and hard. It really pushed your mind, your creativity, and your time-management. You have to think on the fly.”
