Who is the Arkham Knight? A lot of theories about his secret identity has been popping up and we list down the most plausible ones here!
The YouTube channel of Machinima has offered new sets of theories for Arkham Knight in the new Batman game as they suspect that the Arkham Knight is an old character from the Batman mythos, and these include that being Ra's Al Ghul, Damien Wayne, Hush, and even the deceased Joker. Others believe that he is an entirely new character and quite possible one of the NPCs in the Batman Arkham game series, and quite possible a genetic clone of the Batman himself. Gameranx has reported before that someone from the forum website 4chan claiming to have a non-disclosure agreement Warner Bros. leaked the possible plot details in Batman Arkham Knight.
The official Facebook page of Batman Arkham Knight posted a possible clue to the game's plot called "Operation Savior" and is somehow connected to game's new character Arkham Knight.
Arkham Knight plans to put Gotham on lock down and having hands "wrapped tight around Gotham's throat within the hour".
A follow up post suggest that Commissioner Gordon ordered every cop in the city to clear out and let Batman handle the situation.
So far, these are the only clues that Rocksteady Studios hinted in the game, but the leaked post suggest that Arkham Knight had some help from the Suicide Squad under the command of Amanda Waller.
The Suicide Squad in the third Batman Game will consist of Deathstroke (now maskless), Bane, Deadshot, and a revamped Lynx.
Another revelation claimed by the 4chan post suggests that the Arkham Knight's identity is Bruce Wayne or to be specific, a clone of the Dark Knight allegedly created by Amanda Waller using the Titan formula to speed up his aging process.
This isn't the first time that a Batman clone was made in DC Universe. In the Justice League Unlimited episode "Epilogue", Batman Beyond's Terry McGinnis was revealed to be a clone/son of Bruce Wayne created by Waller under the belief that the world still needs a Batman.
Meanwhile, MDB put out a list where the voice actors for the game were credited and Damian Wayne, Nightwing, Superman and Azrael was placed on that list.
Rocksteady hasn't confirmed anything about these characters appearing on the game, but fans have already speculated the appearances of each character.
With Robin and Nightwing being playable characters in the Arkham City, fans have speculated that those two could be playable again in Batman Arkham Knight.
It has been reports that there would be a small reference to Superman in the game via radio reports of his exploits in Metropolis but this news confirms that the Batman: Arkham Knight Superman appearance will happen.
