Obamacare Piggybacked On Mariah Carey's Christmas Song. President Barrack Obama has been plugging his health care plan on a variety of talk shows and TV programs including the Steven Colbert show. But in the latest move to push people to log onto healthcare.gov, the President is using Mariah Carey's Christmas song that goes, "I just want you for my own, more than you could ever know. Make my wish come true, baby, all I want for Christmas..." is for you to sign up for healthcare at HealthCare.gov. said the Pres. Obama after Ryan Seacrest sang the first part of the song.
The President was speaking to white listeners on the Seacrest show to encourage them to enlist on healthcare.gov.
According to the Inqusitr, "Obamacare, a.k.a. the Affordable Care Act, passed the U.S. Senate on Christmas Eve 2009, and the U.S. House on March 21, 2010, on a straight party line vote when both chambers were controlled by Democrats."
Reports say that consumers are flocking to Obamacare to begin coverage as of January 1. However, the President and his staff are concerned that a reversal could happen: "There is, of course, a very real possibility that Republicans on the Supreme Court will try to tear down our health care infrastructure next year, causing chaos and peril for millions of families, based on the perception of a drafting error," MSNBC reports.
The report on Obamacare continued to say, " But if they do, it's important to understand that GOP policymakers will be taking a sledgehammer to a system that's working very well, whether critics want to admit it or not.
