"The Fault In Our Stars" actor Ansel Elgort's sexual preference became a hot topic thanks to his an upcoming role as a gay man in a new biopic.

The "Divergent" star, who graduated from the LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, will be playing the Texan pianist Van Cliburn in a movie of the same name. According to Deadline, Elgort would be a perfect match for the role. Not only can he play the piano but he also produces electronic music as a DJ.

Rumors about his sexuality were further flamed when the 20-year-old hunk recreated the poster for "The Fault In Our Stars" with co-star Nat Wolff filling in for Shailene Woodley.

He added, "Being gay or straight isn't bad or good it just IS. U are who you are. Be true to yourself."
