Emma Watson, boyfriend Matthew Janney's split has been confirmed after they have been dating for almost a year. The "Harry Potter" cast and UN Ambassador for Women, meanwhile, has no plans of dating One Direction's Harry Styles despite the sparks that seemingly flew between them at a recent event.
According to source from US Weekly, Emma Watson and boyfriend Matthew Janney's split is a "mutual decision."
The 24-year-old Brown University graduate and the 22-year-old Oxford University athlete dated since January and were seen in a number of outings together.
The most recent was the intimate getaway in the Caribbean, US Magazine said.
The source also added that after Emma Watson and boyfriend Matthew Janney's split, the "Harry Potter" actress has "moved on and is currently busy with work and her lining up some philanthropic pushes."
Also according to a Emma Watson's rep as told to The Daily Mail, the break-up was indeed amicable.
Emma Waston is filming her latest movie "Colonia Dignidad" in Argentina and Germany while her ex boyfriend Matthew Janney is playing for his university's rugby team.
The "Harry Potter" cast is also busy for her commitment as the UN Ambassador for Women, specifically her "He for She" campaign.
Before Emma Watson dated Matthew Janney in January, the actress was linked to fellow Brown University student Will Adamowicz.
They dated from spring 2012 to summer 2013.
Meanwhile, reports emerge that One Direction's Harry Styles is interested with the UN Ambassador for Women, The Telegraph UK said.
Emma Watson and Harry Styles sparked chemistry among fans when the singing heartthrob presented her with an award at the British Fashion Awards in London early this month.
The US Weekly source said regarding the possible pairing, "She has no plans to date Harry Styles."
However, the source noted that the One Direction member is nice with the "Harry Potter" actress in the event.
