21-year-old Shane Montgomery went missing after having a drink with friends and family at Kildare Pub on Thanksgiving day, according to the NY Daily News.

As the search for the missing Pennsylvania man continues, the family of the West Chester University student has been receiving support from the community.

Friends, family and community athletes reportedly got together for the Goals Fit annual holiday Jolly Run wearing Shane Montgomery’s favorite color, green, and raised over $2,000, according to newsworks.org. About 100 runners reportedly showed up in support of the missing Pennsylvania man’s family and ran the 5K and 5-miler through the hills of Manayunk.

“This is a fun run,” stated Kasey Manwaring, the Goals Fit owner.

She added, “Every year we try and choose a cause that hits close to home, and nothing comes closer than the Montgomery family at this time, so get out there and make some noise!”

The first shred of evidence in the case of the young man’s disappearance was reportedly discovered on Sunday. Keys belonging to the missing Pennsylvania man were reportedly found at the edge of the Schuylkill River.

New Jersey dive crews reportedly found the keys after searching in the river for more than four hours, according to Philly.com. WPVI-TV reports that Montgomery may have ended up in the water while walking through a parking lot.

Kildare’s Pub staff reportedly previously stated that Montgomery had not been over served alcohol or appeared drunk before he tripped into a DJ booth. The college student reportedly then left the bar, but was not kicked out.

His family told the newspaper that his family “will continue to hope for further evidence.”
