Adele is incredibly talented and an all-around sweetheart.

The “Someone Like You” singer sent a hand-written letter to Elton John and his husband David Furnish, apologizing for being unable to attend the couple’s wedding ceremony, according to the NY Daily News.

The note, which was reportedly signed from Adele, her boyfriend Simon and the couple’s son Angelo, told the couple to “have a wonderful day” and that they would see each other in 2015.

2015 will also be the year that Adele is expected to drop her new album, which we’re sure Elton John and David Furnish will be listening to, especially after the “Set Fire To The Rain” singer’s sweet gesture.

There had been speculation that Adele had plans to release a new album in 2014, but that is reportedly no longer the case, according to the Rolling Stone. A financial report from Adele’s label XL Recordings reportedly confirmed that there are no plans for the singer to drop a new album this year.

“There will not be a further new release by Adele during 2014 and consequently there will be a fall in XL’s turnover and profits. Nonetheless, the directors are confident that by pursuing management policies, XL will continue to achieve success with other artists,” read the report.

Adele’s new album, whenever it will enter our lives, is expected to be a hit as her most recent album “21” reportedly sold more than 25 million copies worldwide.

As for Elton John and David Furnish’s wedding ceremony, it was reportedly gorgeous as guests, including Ed Sheeran and David and Victoria Beckham, attended to support the couple.

“The tables look stunning! We had red roses at our Civil Partnership 9 years ago and they brought us so much luck. #ShareTheLove,” John had captioned in a photo from the reception.
