Nicki Minaj and boyfriend Safaree Samuels broke up last month after a long-term relationship that began even before “The Pinkprint” hitmaker acquired fame.
The breakup between the two artists may be turning into a feud, evident from the rapper’s recent posts on her Twitter.
“Anything you don’t appreciate will be taken. God sees your ungrateful evil soul. I gave and gave and gave. Threatening me? Blackmail? Jump,” wrote Nicki Minaj on her Twitter account, according to the NY Daily News.
She added, “30K watch the night my cousin was killed on the street like a dog. More than rappers. But it was never enough. Don’t make me. Too much love.”
The 32-year-old “Super Bass” rapper even pulled from her song “Pills N Potions” to express how she felt about her rumored conflict with ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels.
“Wanted fame. I gave u my blessing. I still love. I still love. I’ll always love. So disappointed,” Minaj continued.
The “Anaconda” rapper added, “Told u it was the wrong move. I sheltered and protected u for years. Loyal for years. Add up them chains watches bracelets rings cars bikes trexs babe. Stop sending money to floss on IG. That doesn’t last. Love lasts.”
Nicki Minaj was clearly affected by the recent breakup with Safaree Samuels. The NY native reportedly grew up with Safaree Samuels in Queens.
“This is somebody I grew up, with” the “Flawless” rapper told Power 105’s Angie Martinez in a recent interview.
She added, “I don’t even know how I’m going to function without that person in my life. I never lived my life as a famous person without him. I don’t think people realize it’s not just a breakup that was a humongous part of my life.”
