Los Angeles Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin remains positive about the team despite a rough start. Meanwhile, the future is in doubt for Linsanity if his game doesn't improve soon.

The Harvard alum told Serena Winters that the squad is better than its 8-19 record suggests. As the Lakers courtside reporter tweeted: "Jeremy Lin (on TWC): 'We saw what we're capable of in that San Antonio game. [That] should be our blueprint.'"

The former Houston Rockets point guard, dubbed Linsanity for that brief insane period in New York where he played like one of the best in all positions in the NBA, was reffering to the 112-110 win over the San Antonio on December 12 over the triple from Nick Young.

However, Bleacher Report said that Jeremy Lin is a reflection of what's wrong with the hot-and-cold season of the Los Angeles Lakers.

"There have been nine occasions this season in which he made only one or none of his field-goal attempts for a combined 5-of-47 shots," it said. "Yet on the other hand, he has scored in double figures 16 times."

In a talk with reporters, he said that he wants to start "but that's not me coming in saying I need this or that. I just want to be a part of the team."

Jeremy Lin also said that one of the biggest adjustments after Linsanity was handling the pressures of being on a spotlight.

"One of the biggest ways I want to handle it is to not let it affect how I play or not to think about it or feel pressured," he said.

However, when he lost his starting job to Ronnie Price, Jeremy Lin confessed that living on a fishbowl has gotten to him. "This is one of the toughest situations I've ever been in since I started playing the game of basketball, trying to figure it all out," said the report.

Whether or not Linsanity will depart Los Angeles Lakers before it can even descend is the next question.
