2014 is very close to coming to an end, and sadly, two of our favorite celebrity couples have decided to call it quits with their significant others.

Although Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton never got married and they’ve also been living separately in adjoining houses for years, the couple has decided to have their own divorce and call it quits after 13 years of being together.

Helena Bonham Carter reportedly stated that the couple never swapped vows due to “laziness,” according to E! News. Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton share two children together, son Billy Ray and daughter Nell.

Johnny Depp, who is the godfather to both children, may be involved in the split as the actor is very much of a part of the couples lives, especially after being cast in eight of Tim Burton’s movies. When someone at Playboy asked who would be getting Johnny Depp in the split, Carter was very confident that her husband would be the one to take care of him.

“Oh, Tim can have him! They get the same poo jokes. Nothing will separate them,” Carter stated last year.

Aside from Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton’s “divorce,” Clint Eastwood has reportedly ended his 18-year marriage to his wife as well, according to The Huffington Post. A Monterey County Superior Court judge reportedly approved a judgment on Tuesday that does not state how the pair will divide their assets.

The Oscar-winning director’s wife reportedly filed for divorce in October 2013, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple married back in 1996 and share one daughter together.
