Fans of the hit comedy will have more reasons to love "Community" season 6, new reports suggest.

It's undeniable that fans have grown to love the series, but majority would always consider the show's pilot season as their favorite. As Den of Geek put it, "This is actually kind of a big deal. Some of us felt a bit burned by Season 5, which we were told would be something of a return to roots. And although it sort of felt that way for a few episodes, it quickly went off the rails into nutty concept episodes, none of which really managed to recapture the exciting creativity of the homages of the first three seasons."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, show creator Dan Harmon confirmed that they "wanted to recapture a look and feel of season 1." That's definitely good news for avid fans of the show.

The show will be patterned "to the look of the first season. We're going back to a more filmed look," cast member Jim Rash revealed to Yahoo TV. Apart from the familiar feel and look of season 1, season 6 will be shooting on location at the Los Angeles Community college. This will be another first since season 1.

Harmon further explained that "Community" season 6 going back to the feel fans loved "means building a foundation of immersiveness, believing Greendale is a real place, as opposed to surrendering to the fact that it's kind of a magical place. There's no episode so far where everyone's a Roman gladiator."

The new season has started filming with Alison Brie, Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash slated to return for the upcoming run. New cast members Paget Brewster and Keith David, on the other hand will join the wacky crew next season.

New episodes will reportedly air early 2015.
