Is Jeremy Lin on the chopping block? The point guard, whose troubles this season are pretty documented, remains one of the Los Angeles Lakers' few trading options, as Linsanity gave his teammates shiny gifts for Christmas.

According to Hoops Habit, Jeremy Lin and Jordan Hill are the "two biggest chips" of the team.

"Not only are both players on a one-year expiring deals, but they each offer unique skillsets at point guard and center. Both positions are vital spots on both ends of the court, and they come at a premium," it said.

After losing his starting spot in Los Angeles Lakers to journeyman Ronnie Price, Jeremy Lin still has a solid season as he averages 10.5 points and 4.9 assists even if it's a far cry during the Linsanity era when he averaged 24.6 points and 9.2 assists per game as a starter with the New York Knicks.

"Lin can be inconsistent at times, but much of this can be attributed in not being able to play to his strength," said Hoops Habit. "Kobe Bryant does dominate the ball for the Lakers, and Lin is most effective being the primary ball-handler in pick and rolls."

Meanwhile, Jeremy Lin gifted his Los Angeles Lakers teammates with personalized headphones, which he posted on Ingtagram.

He captioned the image, which shows Nick Young and Kobe Bryant's nicknames Swaggy P and The Black Mamba, respectively, imprinted on the headphones: "Customized headphones for the #lakeshow ... early Christmas gift as we fly to Chicago!! Steve and X gettin theirs separately bc they cant travel with us... (Huge s/o to @reconbeatlab @monsterproducts @bemostprolific and @digitaltrendsofficial for helping bring my idea to life)"

However, USA Today said that the gifts by Jeremy Lin to his Los Angeles Lakers teammates could get awkward. "If Kobe starts wearing Beats instead of the gold Monster headphones Lin gave him, that could be weird," it said.
