Naruto fans have a lot to look forward to in 2015 despite the manga series' last run in Japan's Shonen Jump Magazine last November. According to Crossmap, a musical about the orange-wearing ninja will open in Japan following "The Last: Naruto The Movie" premiere in the US.
Reportedly, the stage play, which is based from the manga's beginning up to volume 27, will debut in Tokyo at the AiiA Theater from March 21 to April 5. The show is heading to Fukuoka, Osaka, Miyagi, and ending back in Tokyo. Naruto's stage play version is part of the "Naruto's New Era Opening Project" which will also reach other Asian countries such as Macau, Malaysia and Singapore. It is yet to be confirmed if the production will be shown in other Naruto-fanatic nations such as Hong Kong, Taiwan or South Korea.
Meanwhile, VIZ Media and Eleven Arts confirmed that beginning February 20, 2015, "The Last: Naruto The Movie" will be seen in eight key cities in the United States namely: New York, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.
According to Christian Today, tickets for the US screening of "The Last: Naruto The Movie" will be shown in its "original Japanese dialogue with English subtitles" will be available by mid-January at the Eleven Arts' website.
The film based on Masashi Kishimoto's manga series introduces a new character from the Otsutsuki lineage. This mysterious man is a direct descendant to the sage of Six Paths. He has the power to control the moon that brings destruction on Earth!
