Zenimax has recently confirmed in their official blog that the Elder Scrolls Online for the PS4 and Xbox One to be this 2015:

"Next year promises to be just as exciting as we introduce the Champion and Justice Systems, launch on the PS4 and Xbox One, and continue to release new adventures for you to experience. We can't wait for you to see what we have in store for 2015!"

But why is the Elder Scrolls Online release date for the PS4 and Xbox One set for December?

It can be speculated that the PC version would be used to be beta test the Champion and Justice systems and they delayed the console version so that when they release ESO for the consoles, the gameplay systems and features would be polished and bug free.
