Mass Effect fans can rejoice as BioWare has revealed that they have a playable build of Mass Effect 4 and it has been rumored that they would release the first gameplay video trailer of Mass Effect 4 at CES 2015 this January 2015!
BioWare's Michael Gamble dropped a bombshell on Twitter when he said that they have a playable build of Mass Effect 4 and that the demo is very beautiful and diverse:
"The Mass Effect team has created a fantastic build to cap off 2014. So much diversity, so beautiful. Best Christmas present ever." Said Gamble on Twitter.
When the news of this broke out, it was then rumored that BioWare would release a video of this playable build on CES 2015.
The rumor was then given credibility when an alleged BioWare employee posted on Reddit saying that gamers should keep an eye out for CES 2015.
Previously, we reported that Alan Haslow of Motoring Crunch has reported that Aaryn Flynn, the GM of Bioware's Edmonton and Montreal studios, revealed that Mass Effect 4 is coming closer to completion as Aaryn Flynn has confirmed that he has been playing the Mass Effect 4 beta for a while now.
Aaryn Flynn describes ME4 as beautiful, ambitious and fresh while at the same time being recognizable and fun for the veteran players of past Mass Effect games.
Alan Haslow notes that what Mass Effect fans can get from Aaryn Flynn's statement is that the game developers over at BioWare have been beta testing Mass Effect 4 for a while now due to the fact that Aaryn Flynn's comments about Mass Effect 4's gameplay was dated last month. Fans can assume that more beta testing, polishing and new gameplay additions may have occurred since that time.
Mass Effect 4 will have some graphical enhancements and new dynamics in the game as it will run on the "Frostbite 3" game engine. The "Frostbite 3" game engine is the game engine being used for Dragon Age 3.
