Which Apple smartphone is worth the purchase? We compare the new iPhone 6 and the upcoming iPhone 6S to see which device is better for consumers.
In terms of design and display, the iPhone 6S just like the iPhone 6 Plus which is bigger than the original iPhone 6, with same design lines. The change is in the display size, there the iPhone 6S will come with a 4 inch screen size display. While the screen resolution is unknown at the moment, rumors suggests that the iPhone 6S will be actually a mixture of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6 in terms of resolution. The 4 inch display of the iPhone 6S should boast a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels, or the Retina display ratio.
For the hardware and OS, the iPhone 6S will come with the same A8 chipset found in the original iPhone 6. Clocking speed of 1.4 GHz, but RAM memory is expected to stay the same at 1 GB. At the moment there is no information for the built in storage memory, but given the fact this is the iPhone 6S and is marketed as a lower end phone, 64 GB is the maximum. More likely options for internal memory are 16 and 32 GB. The operating system, however, will not suffer and the iPhone 6S will run on the latest iOS. At the moment, that is the 8.1.2 version.
The price for the original iPhone 6 is at $650, but rumor has that the iPhone 6S will cost $500 in the market.
