Tthe No Man's Sky release date has been confirmed by online retrailers to be on May 2015 if the reports and rumors are to be believed.
FreakZoneNation has reported that various online retailers/ cd key distributors has pegged May 2015 to be the release date of No Man's Sky for the PS4. FZN has also reported that the PC version of the game would be delayed as No Man's Sky is developed primarily for the PS4.
However, PC gamers should not worry as Sean Murray told EDGE that Hello Games always had the PC gamers in mind. And while Murray describes his game console-y, he did shed some light on that term:
"I actually got in a bit of trouble for saying that we wanted the game to deel really console-y" says Murray. "We've always had PC in mind but in my head (console-y) means solid framerate and immediate controls. I think a PC game can be 'console-y' and it's intended as a compliment, but I get in trouble for saying it."
As what we have previously reported, No Man's Sky is going to feature planetary exploration, deep oceans, space-based battles, and potential predators on the various procedurally-generated worlds which was announced at VGX 2013 alongside a trailer. Each world has its own ecosystem with potentially unforgiving conditions, such as desert worlds with large carnivorous worms.
Players are initially given a totally uncharted universe to explore, where information about any planet's characteristics and life forms may be shared and updated with others.
Dave Lee of BBC News felt that the game "stole the show" at the E3 2014 conference. The title won the show's "Best Original Game" and "Best Independent Game" by a panel of game critics, as well as receiving the "Special Commendation for Innovation" title.
