Gwyneth Paltrow helped a friend lose 135 lbs.! E! Online reported that friend is none other than celebrity hairstylist, David Babaii. The renowned hairstylist's quest to lose weight started three years ago. Babaii has revealed the ways his actress friend did a good job in helping him shed those excess pounds.

Back in the day, Babaii stood at 5'5 tall, weighing 285 pounds, with a 44 inch sized waist. Babaii then went on to reveal the experiences he went through with his weight and personal struggles:

"I was working a lot. I had a really bad breakup. It was like my first adult breakup,"

"I looked at myself in the mirror and I wanted to start changing."

Gwyneth Paltrow stepped into the picture not too long thereafter to rescue Babaii from his weight demise, as narrated by the renowned beauty stylist:

"It was during a casual conversation and I said to Gwyneth, 'Listen, I really want to lose weight. I want to become better,'"

"She looked at me and said, 'Sounds good, what do you want to do? How do you want to do this?' It was just very organic and not in a judgmental way."

"If I was hungry, I would email her [Gwyneth] any time of the day and if she wasn't sleeping, she'd reply right away,"

"She would say, 'Try this. I think you'll like it. It's not boring.' She said that everything you do, do it in moderation. She would never say stop doing this or stop doing that. It's like she lead me to it without the pressure."

The main advice Gwyneth gave her friend to keep those excess pounds off for life:

"Gluten is not really a good thing, but don't kill yourself to all of a sudden become gluten-free. Just do it slowly.'"

Equinox trainer, Will Castillo also helped Babaii lose those 135 excess pounds in 4 months time.

Babaii's celebrity clients include Kate Hudson, Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera and Uma Thurman, among others.
