Will the Evil Queen have a happy ending? The spoilers on the fate of Regina in "Once Upon A Time" season 4 are scarce. Recently, executive producer Adam Horowitz took to Twitter to "scriptease" what seems to be a Regina-centric storyline.
On December 26, the showrunner tweeted: "How about a frustratingly tiny #OnceUponATime #scripttease for the March 1st premiere? Happy holidays!"
The attached image is part of the script for "Once Upon A Time" season 4 and it shows a VOICE simply saying "that means it's ready."
"Who is the 'voice' and what is 'ready?'" said IBTimes. "Could it have something to do with Rumplestiltskin's (Robert Carlyle) gathering of the Queens of Darkness - Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Ursula (Merrin Dungey) and Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit)?"
The "Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers are mere speculations at this point because the producers and writers are keeping the story close to their chests.
Adam Horowitz scripteases another scene, and this time it's about Regina. But the script only calls for Lana Parilla to say "Wait. Don't -"
Cartermatt speculated that the words could probably mean that Regina "has an alternative idea to whatever is being discussed, and that excites us very much."
"How can it not? We want to believe that she is going to find some sort of happiness by the time the series ends, but however that happiness manifests itself is yet to be seen," it said.
But IBTimes noted that villains in Storybrooke don't get much of a happy ending, but will that ring true for Regina as well?
"While Regina experienced great loss in the winter finale, she also received a bit of hope in the final moments when Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) discovered a secret room in the Sorcerer's mansion. The room was full of blank Storybook's - hinting that they could be close to finally meeting the Storybook author. Could Adam Horowitz's script tease be about Regina rewriting her story?" the article noted.
Watch out for more "Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers ahead of the show's return on March 1.
