"Scandal" season 4 might not be the season where Fitz and Olivia can have their happy ending, new reports claim.
Fans of the hit ABC drama have been rooting for the on and off pair to finally be together. But given their circumstance, a finally ever after can be very difficult to achieve. Now that Olivia has been kidnapped, Fitz is faced with another dilemma.
Latest "Scandal" season 4 updates reveal that Olivia's kidnapping will alsop destroy Fitz. In an interview with TVGuide, Tony Goldwyn who plays Fitz shared, "It will potentially destroy Fitz again. How much more can a man take? This will really test him. The stakes are unbelievably high and I can say that it will be scary."
However, there could be something good about the situation as the unfortunate situation could force Fitz and Jake to work together to save Olivia.
When it comes to leaving his wife and the first lady however, several reports are wary about that happening anytime soon. As Inquistr reported, "First of all, Fitz is still in office, and will all the drama that has surrounded his presidency such as a rigged election, an assassination attempt, his son's murder, his suicide attempt, rumors of his mistress, and his daughter's sex tape it wouldn't be wise for Fitz to bring on any more problems for himself."
"Also, there's a big roadblock in Fitz's way as he fights for Liv's affection, Jake Ballard. Jake also loves Olivia, and she loves him. It will be hard for Liv to choose between her two loves, but deep down fans have to believe that Fitz is her one true love."
Meanwhile, in her interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kerry Washington dished on some exclusive details about Olivia Pope's fate in "Scandal" season 4.
"She's in pretty extraordinary danger. Game of Thrones has changed the game. Maybe I've been really misbehaved. Maybe Shonda is mad at me. It did make me feel like, 'Do I need to talk to Shonda?'" She said.
