It looks like Rihanna is over Chris Brown and Drake because there have been reports that the 26-year old singer won't ever date rappers again. Many celebrities have their own New Year's resolution - from losing weight to remaining single just like what Taylor Swift did for more than a year.
The "Diamonds" singer seems to have had enough of all the heartaches and pain. In 2014, she experienced a whirlwind romance with Drake, who was linked to Nicki Minaj. She even gave the Canadian rapper a lap dance in her controversial music video "Anaconda".
However, the 32-year old singer denied dating Drake. During a guest appearance at "Watch What Happens Live", Andy Cohen asked Nicki Minaj if she will sleep with Drake if both of them are single. E! Online reported her saying, "No." The host asked her, "You love him in a different way?" She simply replied, "Yes."
Despite the break up with Drake, Rihanna was still seen watching his concert. But she started to steer clear away from him when the "Started From The Bottom" hitmaker got involved in a scandal with two strippers. After the rumors ended between Rihanna and Drake, the Bajan beauty then got involved with former lover Chris Brown.
The 25-year old recording artist announced to the whole world that he is single again, which started out rumors that he is hooking up with his ex-girlfriend. However, he later on apologized to Karrueche Tran and since then has reunited with her.
Because of all the break ups, Riri has decided to take care of her heart from now on by not dating rappers. A source told Hollywood Life, "She isn't going to mess with anybody in the industry like that anymore." The insider added, "Those guys bring her nothing but pain and heartbreak."
It looks like Rihanna has finally learned her lesson. The source explained, "Most of them are whack and very childish. She doesn't have time for that. She's not trying to raise a man. She already tired that twice and it didn't work."
Despite not getting fulfilled emotionally, the singer admitted that her physical needs were satisfied. The insider said, "All those dudes were good for was sex anyway. That was by far their best quality." The source added, "But when it came to love, commitment, honesty and trying to build a future, they all fell way short."
Rihanna may finally have outgrown guys like Chris Brown and Drake; and is ready for a more serious relationship. A source said, "She's grown up now and can find someone good in the sack anywhere. She's looking for more and doesn't think guys in music, especially rappers, have the key to the lock around her heart."
