Christina Milian's reality show is all set for its January airing, and will be starred by the "Dip It Low" singer and her family. In a report from Huffington Post, the diva's mom, Carmen Milian, talked about the show, shared parenting tips and gave a subtle hint about her daughter's rumored relationship with Lil Wayne.

Carmen Milian is looking forward to Christina Milian's reality show, which will reveal how the R&B songstress went from being a busy celebrity, to a single mom, to an artist who has decided to revive her career.

A single mom herself, Carmen Milian managed her daughter's career for the past 20 years. The proud parent shared how she juggled being a single parent to Christina Milian and her two sisters, working all by herself with no child support from their father.

"Your children will always come first, but if you have to go back to work, you have to go back to work," Carmen Milian said, reported by Huffington Post.

"It's good for your self-esteem to make your own money," the Cuban mom advised, adding that Christina Milian and her two other daughters "always admired her for being a hard worker".

While being a working single mom can be stressful, Carmen Milian said it helps to keep dating and allow someone to take care of you. She said: "Having a boyfriend is healthy... don't cheat yourself thinking it will be better for your children (if you don't have a boyfriend)."

"When I think back I wished I'd been a bit more selfish that way, there are enough pieces of the mama pie for all to eat and be happy."

Carmen Milian's sentiments about single moms dating somewhat hints that she is okay with Christina Milian dating Lil Wayne.

A lot of fans hope that Christina Milian's reality show will finally confirm the real status between the two.

Christina Milian and Lil Wayne dating allegations were fueled after the rumored "Young Money" couple held hands and flaunted PDA during the recently concluded American Music Awards (AMA).

According to a report from Hollywood Life, the duo performed the rapper's new track, "Start A Fire," from his upcoming album entitled "Tha Carter V."

What got everyone's attention was how Lil Wayne's new track had him rapping lines such as "Mama, I'm in love with a hot girl... and they don't understand" while holding hands with Christina Milian.
