Latest Tom Clancy's The Division release date updates reveal a new game screenshot!
The latest image shows the New York Times Square after what looks like a New Year celebration.
As Gamepur noted, "In this screenshot you can see the clock hitting 23.55 rather than 00.00 which welcomes the new year. What could be the reason behind this clock being stuck at just 5 minutes before the new year? Guessing a massive event is about to take place at midnight."
The new game looks very impressive, but no confirmation has been made about a specific Tom Clancy's The Division release date. Fans are just holding on to the developers' word that the highly anticipated release will be out by 2015.
Moviepilot reports, "Ubisoft has already pushed their highly anticipated MMO The Division to 2015. According to a report, the game was nowhere near ready in May earlier this year! So if game development had barely started at that time, can we assume that they are running into a lot of issues with the latest Tom Clancy experience?!"
But what exactly can fans expect from Ubisoft's newest release?
"In addition to standard story progression (and new content after you finish), The Division features progression systems for gear, player statistics, and your base of operation, which can be continually upgraded. Ubisoft will also support The Division with new content following its release, adding more hours to the main experience," Game Spot reported.
Ubisoft Art Designer Rodrigo Cortez said,"We want to show gamers the game they will end up playing. We don't want to sell a fantasy."
"You're starting to see similar mixing of genres in other games. Before a game was either a shooter, or a third-person game, or a driving game. But now more and more there's a blend of genres into a bigger game. It can make the game hard to define - it has shooter elements, RPG mechanics, it's cover-based, online and a seamless open-world. It has all of that, yes. But we took it to heart. It's a proper RPG," he added.
"There's nothing like it out there so we can do things surprisingly well that nobody has done before. We don't have dragons or weird spell effects, we have technology and we have weaponry."
