"Teen Mom" cast members Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra welcomed their second child, said a report from USA Today. The young parents also appear to want to reconnect with their first daughter, Carly, whom they have up for adoption five years ago.

The baby of "Teen Mom" cast members Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra was born last January 1, and was given the name Nova Reign. She weighed 6 pounds and 12 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches.

The proud father took to Instagram to share a photo of his new baby being held by Catelynn Lowell. He captioned the post: "Momma Bear holding our little angel! Can't tell you the feeling of witnessing this."

"Look at my beautiful bride to be! That woman is beyond strong, caring, and selfless. Couldn't have asked for a better little family #Blessed #NewYearBaby #MyGirls #AreMyWorld," the reality tv star added.

Another Instagram post shared by the excited father showed his first daughter, Carly. Tyler Baltierra captioned the image: "IT'S HAPPENING! Here we go, doing this all over again. This is surreal, I'm freakin out a little lol but can't wait to meet my little angel!"

"Thinking a lot about Carly right now. It's bringing me back. Even though I know this time I will actually be taking her home," he admitted.

Amid all the happy greetings for baby Nova Reign, some cannot help but recall how Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra faced a different scenario when they were expecting their first child, Carly, back in 2009.

According to a report from Daily Mail, the two decided to give up their daughter for adoption but they have remained in contact with the child's adoptive parents and visit her twice a year.

"I was too young when I got pregnant with Carly - I was sad and scared," Catelynn Lowell confessed.

Now, Catelynn Lowell has admitted to In Touch how she is eager for her new baby to meet her eldest daughter.

"My hope is that they'll have a great relationship one day. They're sisters," she said.
