Chickadee, whose real name is Anna Cardwell, claimed that her feud with Mama June is not over following the "Honey Boo Boo" scandal, adding that forgiving her mother for dating a child molester will come at a price.
In a report by TMZ, Chickadee said she is trying to move on from the fued with Mama June and her mother is trying to gain back her trust after the "Honey Boo Boo" scandal broke, which resulted to the network axing the show.
"She says they've been texting and talking on the phone regularly," the gossip news site said.
"Anna says June apologized for dating McDaniel -- and while her mom insists the creep's totally out of the picture ... Anna remains hesitant. She says she's warned June the forgiveness train will be completely derailed if Mark comes around again," TMZ added.
Mama June, for her part, insisted that the child molester, Mark McDaniel, is no longer in her life and the last time they saw each other was in September.
The whole "Honey Boo Boo" scandal started with TMZ published an article claiming that Mama June and Mark McDaniel are back together. The child molester was convicted for abusing Chickadee when she was still eight years old.
Chickadee previously told Us Weekly that she felt betrayed by Mama June after the report came out.
"It's like she's happy. She's smiling and laughing and giggling when he's around," she said. "You know, he's a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?"
Apart from the feud with Chickadee, the aftermath of the scandal included "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" being axed by TLC, and Mama June and Sugar Bear announcing their separation, which they confirmed through the statement that read: "Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship. We are taking things day by day but regardless of what happens the girls will always be our #1 priority. We want to thank ya'll for your support."
