It's no secret that the LA Lakers are struggling right now and Jeremy Lin is reportedly not happy about and he is rumored to be looking for another team to join.
As was reported by Travelers Today, the LA Lakers are pursuing a big time trade to upgrade their roster and the Philadephia 76ers could be the best team to for them to have a trade with. According to the report, this trade proposal would have the LA Lakers sending Jeremy Lin in exchange for Michael Carter-Williams, and Luc Mbah a Moute.
The LA Lakers would significantly improve their roster by acquiring a young point guard in Carter-Williams and decent rotation players like Shved and Moute, while Philadelphia would have the luxury of going over the minimum and at the same time, get more cap room to sign big time free-agents next season.
It has also been speculated that Jeremy Lin and Eric Bledsoe could switch teams soon, if the right deal between their teams are struck.
Eric Bledsoe has been real unhappy with his team right now and the management feels that the point guard should be traded, and the Lakers are one team they are looking at to trade with but there's one problem about it, the salary. For the salaries to match, one of either Steve Nash or Jeremy Lin must be a part of the trade. From Lake Show Life: "In order to make the salaries match, the Lakers need to use Steve Nash and Jeremy Lin in trade. The Lakers are out of cap room. According to the Basketball Insiders Phoenix Suns page, the Suns have $19.9 million available since Eric Bledsoe isn't signed."
