Last year, the host and executive producer of ANTM got involved in legal charges. First, the former contestant of ANTM Angelea Preston sued her. Preston was disqualified from the competition. After she was kicked out from the show, she filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on December 10, 2014. The former contestant believes that she was wrongly disqualified.
In the judgement episode, Judge Nigel Barker said, "It turns out, our production team and the network learned information from Angelea that disqualifies her from the competition."
Then he continued, "It means we're now going to do our final judging with the remaining two girls, and in the interest of fairness, the producers and the network thought it best to evaluate Allison and Lisa on their own."
As for the second legal charge issue, Banks sued wigmakers, according to TMZ. ANTM host claimed that the 10 companies are biting her "name, photograph, image, and identity" and her trademarks.
