Jamie Dornan claimed to fear for his own life after landing the Christian Grey role in "Fifty Shades of Grey" as the 32-year-old actor said that he hates shaving.
In an interview with Details magazine, "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan claimed that his greatest fear is being killed by a fan if the show will blow up when it released in the theaters on Valentine's Day.
"I almost don't want to put this out there into the ether, but I fear I'll get murdered, like John Lennon, by one of those mad fans at the premiere. Because a lot of people are very angry that I'm playing this character. And I'm a father now, and a husband. I don't want to die yet," he said.
That statement was a great tabloid fodder but Jamie Dornan doesn't stop there.
"And when I do get murdered people will say, 'God, isn't it haunting how he did that interview in Details magazine and predicted his own death on the red carpet?'" he quipped.
Jamie also said that he doesn't take himself too seriously, particularly being known as a sex symbol after bagging Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades of Grey."
"When I think of sex symbols, I think of posters my two sisters had on their bedroom walls. What was he called? Luke Perry? Even then, the label was more definitive. There are so fucking many young actors in that bracket now that it's a bit of a hollow crown. You'd be hard-pressed to find an actor who isn't a sex symbol somewhere," he added.
Meanwhile, "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan said that he doesn't like shaving. "Some guys spend 300 quid on equipment and have special soap and wee f--king brushes. They have their bathrooms set up like a f--king shop. I am not that guy. I get red here [strokes his neck] and I always cut myself," he added.
