Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton have split up after thirteen years of being together, the actress' representative confirmed to US Weekly in December. What will happen to their well-known movie making partnership now that they've decided to call it quits?

According to the "Cinderella" star's publicist, the eccentric couple did not break up on bad terms.

"Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter separated amicably earlier this year," US Weekly reported the actress' representative last December. "(They) continue to be friends and co-parent their children."

Does this mean that the "Alice In Wonderland" star will continue to be the famous director's muse?

After 13 years together, the A-list couple looks like they will continue to stay friends. They will also hopefully continue to make blockbuster movies together.

Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton's split isn't affecting their current relationship either.

According to The New York Post, the former power couple had already been living separately for a year now, yet they have been spotted at events, family outings, and friends' shows together.

"Tim and Helena have been living separate lives for [more than] a year, and since they separated, they have both had other lovers," the publication quoted a source as saying.

"The separation announcement was made saying they'd split earlier this year, but they have been living apart for much longer."

The source further shared, "Both parties are happy with the situation. It is perfectly amicable."

Although they never really got married, the pair started dating after working together in "Planet Of The Apes" in 2001. Since then, the couple has worked together on several movies including "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory," "Sweeny Todd" and "Alice In Wonderland."

They have three children together.

Whether Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton split up a few months ago or a year ago, fans still hope to see them working on more movies together.

The couple only requests the public to "respect their privacy and that of their children during this time."
